Felix Diakhite- Flight Instructor
Felix was born and raised in Senegal and dreamed of being a pilot early on. He received a bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering in 2012 from the University of Texas. In 2016, Felix joined the Civil Air Patrol (CAP) in Milwaukee and by 2017 he was the aerospace education and safety officer for the squadron. In 2022 he earned a Certified Flight Instructor certificate and became a volunteer flight instructor for CAP. Felix continues to build flight hours and plans to be an airline pilot in the near future. He is a regular volunteer instructor at local and national CAP flight activities.
Felix has worked for the FAA since 2021as an aerospace engineer and program manager. He is an active flight instructor for a local flight school in Milwaukee. Felix balances his his time helping raise his two young sons. He became a director of Youth & Aviation in 2024 and serves as safety advisor for the organization.
